General remarks

This page comments on provisions of the Bulgarian Insurance Code that relate to xArt Consult’s activity and the information below is intended for users of insurance services.

Registration certificate

Under Art. 309(1) of the Insurance Code, after registration in the public register, the Financial Supervision Commission issues a registration certificate. The certificate can be accessed via the link at the bottom of each page of this website.

Identification

Under Art. 288(2) of the Insurance Code, when distributing insurance products, the intermediary must identify itself as such.

Marketing communications

Under Art. 288(3) of the Insurance Code, any information (including marketing communications) must be accurate, clear and not misleading. To the extent our activities fall within “distribution of insurance products” under Art. 286(2), information on the website and our communications may be considered marketing communications.

Distance distribution

Art. 331 sets requirements for websites that offer insurance online. xArt Consult publishes identification and legal basis (certificate) in the footer of its pages; information is in Bulgarian.
xArt Consult does not offer insurance online; offers and contract terms are provided after an enquiry and exchange of information by email/other distance communication means.

COVID‑19

In response to inquiries, information is provided at a distance via the website, email or another convenient method.
